All vessels calling at Mariehamn are obliged to fill out a Port Declaration prior to the call.

Vessels are also obliged to fill in a mandatory Waste Declaration.

If food waste is to be landed the Notification form regarding food waste is to be completed and returned to the Harbor Master in Mariehamn 24 hours prior to the call.

All ships ( 300 GT or more) are required to submit a waste delivery receipt via Portnet. The receipt will be issued by the port, but the vessel’s captain or agent is responsible for submitting it to the authorities. If waste management facilities are experienced to be inadequate, the form regarding complaints can be filled out and given to the Harbor Master.
