Access to restricted areas

Access to restricted port areas requires an access pass, which is granted to persons with a valid reason to enter.

The access pass, key tag,  is used to open gates and doors in the port areas. The tag is personal and valid for a maximum of one year.

New applications or renewals of access are made online on our website. Online application requires logging in with a Bank-ID. The application form is in Swedish. The processing time is five working days.

You will receive an email when the tag is ready for collection or has been renewed. Tags must be collected in person from the port office and you have to present a valid ID upon collection. Tags can also be released to the foreman of the employee’s company.

Part of the permit process may contain a security clearance procedure conducted by the Finnish Security Intelligence Service (SUPO). By submitting your application you give your consent to this procedure possibly taking place.

Please read and follow the restricted area rules! Always have your ID available for inspection when you are within the port’s restricted areas.
